He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Allen Dixon Sr. and Mary Louise Cowan Dixon; and his son-in-law David James. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Talley Dixon; his children, Kathy Lynn Dye (Sid) of Salem, Nancy Louise Dixon James of Cordova, TN and Thomas Allen Dixon (Amy) of Spring Hill; his sister Sara Sargent of Mobile, AL; and his grandchildren, Allison Dye Weddle, Andrew Dye, Joshua Dye, Rachel Dixon, Hannah Dixon Martin, Jordan James and Nicholas James. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freed Hardeman Scholarship in memory of H. A. and Louise Dixon and AGAPE Child and Family Services of Memphis.
