He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Shrewsbury; his son Richard Ross Lane; and his brother Richard Lane. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rarick Lane; and his children, Daniel Scott Lane (Joanne) and Amber Wark (Donald Greg). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
