He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Mameli and Michelina Mameli; his wife Daria Ranieri; his sisters, Salvatorica Farina and Augusta Cossu; his daughters, Julie DiStefano (Saverio) and Michela Prestia (Jody); his sister Carmella Murrutzu (Antonio Guiseppe); and his grandsons, Domenic DiStefano and Massimo DiStefano.
