She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jarvis and Pauline Parker Jarvis; her spouse Nate Rhodes; her siblings, Ernest Jarvis, Elner Jarvis, Alice Jarvis, Moses Jarvis, Reed Jarvis, Bessie Jarvis, Will Jarvis and Dorothy Mae Hart; and her half-brother Edward Lark Dear.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Tillman (Vera), Alice Moore, Keith Tillman (Karen) and Tonya Jelks; and her sister Alfar Palmer. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
