He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Boyd and Catherine Staggs Whitwell; his daughter Amanda Whitwell; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Pipkin and Pam Pipkin.
He is survived by: his wife Lajuana Faye Whitwell; his children, Christina Lunn (Tom), Brandon Whitwell (Catherine) and Justin Whitwell (Brittany); his grandchildren, Ciera Hargrove, Hunter Whitwell (Morgan), Brantly Whitwell, Lindze Lunn, Gavin Whitwell, Gabe Lunn, Mia Whitwell, Dane Lunn and Scarlett Whitwell; and also, Cassidy, Kristy and Eddie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (5239 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery (520 McLemore Ave, Spring Hill, TN 37174).
