It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Mae Luther of Spring Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Schmidt and Ted Schmidt; her husband Gary A. Luther; and her siblings, Vick Schmidt (Mardell), Bertie Lee (Don) and Irene Patterson (Dick).
She is survived by: her brother Roger Schmidt (Ruth); her daughters, Janet Starcher (Jim) and Jeanne Soria (Ray); her grandchildren, Gary J. Luther (Misty), Michael Soria (Julie) and Caroline Darlene Mayo; and her great grandchildren, Ben Sells, Mariah Soria, Griffin Heinzman, Kennton Luther, Katheryn Luther, Shawna Kennedy and Lyzander Luther.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brentwood United Methodist Church (309 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials, in Darlene's honor, can be made to Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
