He was predeceased by: his parents, Reggie Clyde and Allie Viana Russell Farmer; his wife Lois Ann Grandstaff Farmer; and his siblings, Harry Farmer and Claudine Vanderpool.
He is survived by: his son Jay Alan Farmer (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jeb Wilson and Jenny Elizabeth Farmer; his son Jon Michael Farmer (Renee); his grandchildren, Jeremy Michael, Jake Wesley (Chloe) and Jessie Renee Farmer; his daughter Robbie Ann Luzzo; his grandchildren, Madysen Alyese, Anna Belle and Calvert Anthony Luzzo; his son-in-law Ron Luzzo; his adoptive son William Chadwick Bailey (Lyndi); his children, William Steven and Lois Caroline Bailey; and his sister-in-law Jean Farmer. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
