He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Launius Sr. and Laddie Pauline Clement Launius; his sister Glenda Potter; and his nephew James Potter. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Launius; his children, Tammie Launius Jay (Rob) and Kevin Andrew Launius; his grandchildren, Katie Jay Crawford (Alex), Nathan Jay (Bridget Kazay) and Emily Jay (Patrick Queener); and his great grandchild Ellie Grace Crawford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (5239 Main St, Spring Hill, TN 37174). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
