He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKeown and Opal Pierce McKeown; his wife Sylvia Teague McKeown; his siblings, Donnie Ray, Jim McKeown and Johnnie Cantrell; and his son-in-law Charles "Tad" Pruitt.
He is survived by: his children, Rona Pruitt, Pam Vest (Clet), Billy McKeown of Spring City and James McKeown (Eileen) of Pumpkin Center, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, April Kilby (Jeremie), Jammie Killian (Brian), Ericka Hall (Matt), Page Lee (Josh), Santana Pruitt, Lydia McKeown and Tod Duffy; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Braden Kilby, Blade, Maverick Hall, Nolan, Adalan Killian, Miles Lee and Tad Hicks; his siblings, Diane Lillard (Gerald), Sarah McKeown, Larry McKeown (Lynn) and Harry Cantrell; and his niece Teresa Ann Payne. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins and so many friends.
