He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Jeffers and Linda Lloyd Jeffers; his siblings, Paul, Floyd, Virgil, Earl, Clovis Jeffers and Maggie Jeffers Newport; and his son-in-law John W. Toliver Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Jeffers of Spring City; his daughters, Walta J. Toliver of Dayton and Marla Smith (Charles) of Franklin; his grandsons, John W. Toliver III (Sarah Marie) of Clarksville and James Walter Toliver (Sarah Kathleen) of Harker Heights; his great grandchildren, John W. Toliver IV, RuthAnne, Jeremiah, Joseph Toliver of Clarksville and Addelynne Toliver of Harker Heights; and his brother Claud Jeffers of Norma.
