He was predeceased by: his daughter Glenda Miller; his parents, Ruby Moffett and Monroe Moffett; his siblings, Edd Moffett, Boyd Moffett, Glen Moffett and Sara Hudson; and his nephews, Don Moffett and Steve Moffett.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Smith Moffett; his daughter Vadonna Moffett of Spring City; his adoptive son John Allen (Amy) of Georgia; his son-in-law Jerry Miller; his grandchildren, Rev. Corey Miller of Calhoun, Paige Jenkins (Keith) of Spring City, Gerriann Howse (Robert) of Spring City, Will Allen, Elizabeth Allen and Henry Allen of Georgia; his great grandchildren, Addison Ballard, Karson Jenkins, Grayson Jenkins, Zaxton Howse and Kaylonis Howse; and his siblings, Kenneth Moffett (Linda) of Cleveland, TN, Lorene Porter of Spring City, TN, Imogene Pendleton of Cleveland, TN and Addie Tallent (Paul) of Spring City, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be given to the Wolf Creek Baptist Church, 5225 Wolf Creek Road, Spring City, TN 37381.
