He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ray Burkhardt Sr. (Bob) and Doris Burkhardt; and his son-in-law Steve Hoosier. He is survived by: his wife Angela "Angie"; his daughter Amy (Hoosier); his siblings, Terry Grant (Gary), Bill Burkhardt (Lynn), Don Burkhardt (Christina) and Carol Burkhardt; his grandchildren, Alexandra Mayfield (Derek) and Kai Hoosier (Lizziey); and his great grandchildren, Everett Mayfield and Hudson Hoosier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
