She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Smith and Edith Perkins Smith; her husband Herman Madewell; her son Kenneth Madewell; and her sisters, Lorraine Davis and Doris Thurman.
She is survived by: her children, Polly Price (Mitchell) of Rockwood, Mike Madewell (Becky) of Spring City and David Madewell (Kim) of Spring City; and her grandchildren, Greg, Lynne, Scotty, Mikey, David and Jennifer. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
