With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Thurman of Spring City, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Bertie Ann Rice Thurman; his wife Doris Elizabeth Thurman; and his siblings, G. C., Carroll, Carl, W. H. Thurman, Mattie Davis, Gladys Wilson and Irene Pritchard.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Thurman of Spring City and Pam Wilson (Vaughn) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his siblings, Clyde Thurman Sr. of Spring City and Betty Jo Alley (Charles) of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Jake, April, Isaac, Megan and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Brenna, Lakeland, Joshua, Kimber and Octavia.
