With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence McClendon of Spring City, Tennessee, born in Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Oscar F. McClendon; his wife Vivian Lee Calloway McClendon; and his siblings, Charles, Jeanette, James and Theodore McClendon.
He is survived by: his children, Phaedra Brewster of Sweetwater, Terry McClendon (Erica) of Dayton and Travis McClendon (Misty) of Spring City; his grandchildren, Darius Ridley, Jazmine, Tyra, Quincy and Bryson McClendon; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Horton of Spring City and Noreen McClendon of Maryville.
