He is survived by: his wife Jewel T. Strickland of Spring City; his children, Mark Strickland of Spring City and Cathy Smith (Mike) of Spring City; his grandchildren, Justin Whitted (Chasity) of Dayton and Rhonda Thomas (Sean) of Athens; and his great grandchild Bryson Whitted of Dayton.
