He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schaffer and Eva Ramsey Schaffer; his wife Mary Clark Schaffer; his children, Rodney, Tim Schaffer and Becky Park; and his brother Charles Schaffer.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Schaffer of Dayton, Denise Brock (David) of Spring City, Darrell of Spring City and Chuck Schaffer of Spring City; and his brother Harrison Schaffer of Loudon. He is also survived by four grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
