She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Trout and Eulah Coates Trout; her husband Lamar Strickland; her son Randy Lee "Rooster" Strickland; her siblings, Ray, Carl, Charles, Harold "Junior" Trout and Sue Devore; and her grandson Johnathan Vandell Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Strickland of Spring City, Tennessee and Cathy Smith (Mike) of Spring City, Tennessee; her adoptive daughter Lola Agius of Howell, Michigan; her brother Lewis Trout of Hartsville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Justin Whitted (Chasity) of Dayton and Rhonda Thomas (Sean) of Athens, Tennessee; and her great grandchild Bryson Whitted of Dayton, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
