He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley and Dorothy Elizabeth Hammond Vanderpool; and his brother William Larry Vanderpool. He is survived by: his uncle William C. (Bill); his aunt Evelyn Vanderpool Hilleary; his daughters, Rachael Gardner (Dean) of Chattanooga, Ashley Brooks (Jamie) of Spring City, Tennessee and Sarah Murphy (T. J.) of Spring City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Olivia, Alaina Gardner, Braden, McKenna Davis, Riley, Landon Brooks, Leland and Jolee Murphy; and his sister Brenda Monks (Mark) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
