He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon W. Thurman and Icey Roberts Thurman. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Pritchett (Mitch) of Spring City, Michael Thurman of Florence, AL and Angel Thurman of Decatur; and his siblings, Kenneth Thurman (Lucy) of Spring City and Dorothy Allen (J. R.) of Spring City. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
