It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Martin (Spring City, Tennessee), born in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, who passed away on March 7, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ted Johnson; her son Stephen "Steve" Gilbert; her stepchildren, John Martin Jr. and Debra Denise Martin; and her siblings, Johnny Johnson and Margaret Price.
She is survived by: her parent Hazel Johnson; her husband John Martin of Spring City; her sons, James Gilbert of Spring City and Timothy Hall of Evensville; her stepchildren, Connie Wheeler of Abilene and Michael Martin of Cartersville; and her siblings, Jimmy Johnson of Tyler Texas and Mary Carroll of Conrow. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spring City Senior Center, 135 Ferguson Drive, Spring City, TN 37381.
