She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Spooner and Hazel Adams Spooner; her husband Royal Tinsley Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Degroag and Ray Spooner.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Tinsley of Spring City, Tennessee; and her niece Karen Ricker.
