He was predeceased by: his parent Monroe Moffett; his wife June O. Moffett; and his brother Ed Moffett. He is survived by: his parent Ruby Boshears Moffett; his children, Judith "Judy" Moffett, Steven Moffett (Lois) of Spring City, Bobby Moffett (Kim) of Spring City and Larry Moffett (Jessica) of Spring City; his siblings, Taft Moffett (Maxine), Boyd Moffett, Kenneth Moffett (Linda), Lorene Porter, Addie Tallent (Paul), Sarah Hudson and Imogene Pendleton (Kenneth); and also Chattanooga. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wolf Creek Baptist Church Children's Choir, 5225 Wolf Creek Road, Spring City, TN 37381.
