He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel Thurman Goss; his parents, Beecher Goss and Dossie Morris Goss; his siblings, Woodrow Goss, Wilson Goss and Jackqulene Reed; and his stepchildren, Rhonda Alred and Floyd Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Glendia Edwards Goss of Spring City; his grandchildren, Johnny Goss II (Paula) of Spring City and Connie Roberts (Michael) of Tellico Plains, TN; his sisters, Verna Wright of Spring City, Frances Goss of Spring City and Maxine Thomas of Spring City; his stepdaughters, Linda Christopher of Rockwood and Anita Edwards of Harriman; and his brother-in-law Donald Gibson of Cleveland, TN.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
