He was predeceased by: his parents, Vidma Drinkard and Gertrude Drinkard; and his sister Ernestine Drinkard Peacock. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son David (Betsy); his grandsons, Grayson of Katy and Cooper of Katy; his son Robert (Anissa Samilpa); his grandsons, Liam of Harlingen, Texas and Garrett of Harlingen, Texas; and his nieces, Karen Peacock of Katy and Brenda Peacock Allen of Loxley, Alabama..
