He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Jewell and Cora L. Gillett Jewell; his wife Patsy McCabe Jewell; and his siblings, Bill, Floyd, Leon, Richard, Harold Jewel, Madge, Violet, Katherine, Elena and Betty Jean.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Lee Jewell of Spring City. He is also survived by two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
