It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Scott of Spring City, Tennessee, born in Flat Top, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matherly and Margaret Mansfield Matherly; her former husband Billy William Davis; her husband Robert "Bob" LeRoy Scott; her sons, Ron Davis, Rick Davis and Jimmy Davis; and her siblings, Roger Matherly and Doris Lockhart.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Davis (Diane) of Spring City, Jerry Davis of Spring City and Jennifer Burns (Robert) of Spring City; her daughters-in-law, Donna Marie Davis of Spring City, Donna Gail Davis of Crossville and Jill Davis of Crossville; and her siblings, John Matherly Jr. (Cathy) of Virginia and Patricia Hall of West Virginia. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church, 296 Macedonia Road, Spring City, TN 37381.
