He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Ferren and Nancy Pauline Prince Ferren; and his siblings, Harold, Jarrel Ferren and Winnie Cathrene Grey.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ferren of Spring City, Tennessee; his children, Dwane Ferren Jr. (Jamie) of Indianapolis, Douglas Ferren of Marion, Karen Monday of Spring City, Tennessee and Alisa Jackson of Spring City, Tennessee; and his siblings, Kenny Ferren of Kokomo, Indiana, Arwood Ferren (Mae) of Kokomo, Indiana, Paul Ferren (Lois) of Kokomo, Indiana and Teresa Ferren of Kokomo, Indiana. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
