He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dixon of Spring City, Tennessee; his children, William Dixon of Michigan, Michelle Andrews of Michigan, Heather Phillipson of Michigan and Stephanie Royal of Ohio; his siblings, Bryan of Pennsylvania, Dennis of Pennsylvania, David Dixon of Pennsylvania, Belinda Showalter of Pennsylvania, Tammy Baker of Pennsylvania and Lisa Muir; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Penelope, Jude, Cora, Nolan and Kiera.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Rhea County Animal Shelter Alliance, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, Tennessee 37332 in his memory.
