Clyde Thurman Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Thurman Sr. of Spring City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth McCabe Thurman; his parents, Grover Cleveland and Bertie Rice Thurman; his siblings, W. H., James, Leroy, Mattie Davis, Irene Pritchard and Gladys Wilson; his children, Linda Brown, Ronnie Roberts and Cathy Lauer; and his grandchild Eddie Brown.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Jo Alley (Charles); his children, Sue Carter, JoAnn Thurman, Danny Thurman (Gretchen) and Clyde Thurman Jr. (Wendy); and his caregivers, Karen and Pat. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
