She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Garfield and Molly McGann McCabe; her husband Rex; and her siblings, Truman McCabe, Gilbert "Biggin" McCabe, Perry "Tip" McCabe, Byron McCabe, Eileen Craighead, Margaret McClendon and Mina Fugate.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Underwood of Spring City, Bill Walker (Brenda) of Cookeville and JoAnn Wyatt (Victor) of Athens, Tennessee; and her sister Stella King of Spring City, Tennessee. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (150 New Lake Rd, Spring City, TN 37381). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
