It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Elaine Shockley of Spencer, Tennessee, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Hillis (Cleve) and Geneva Johnson Hillis; her siblings, Donnie Hillis and Glenna Kay Dean; and also Johnny Shockley.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Ferguson (Brad); her grandson Grant Thomas Ferguson; and her siblings, Norma Sue Grissom, Stanley Hillis (Faye Huddleston), Doug Hillis (Bonnie), James Hugh Hillis (Charlotte) and Marty Hillis (Zeda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Sharon's final wish would be that her friends and family would support the local community by making donations to the Burritt College Memorial Museum.
