It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Josiphene Cummings (Spencer, Tennessee), who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McCormack and Mary Guy McCormack; her husband David L. Cummings; her sons, David Clark Cummings and Dennis Keith Cummings; her siblings, Joene Hodges (Herman), Hassie Grissom (Tom), Reba McCormack, Opal Horton (Lee-Roy), Olene Paugh (Carl) and John McCormick (Patti Sue); and her brother-in-law Dean Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Douglas (Karen) of Boiling Springs, SC and Susan Cummings of Oakland, FL; her sister Ava Dean Grant of Las Vegas, NV; and her daughters-in-law, Marnie Cummings of Sanford, FL and Scarlett Cummings of Greenbrier, TN.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
