It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Lee Simmons Cunningham of Spencer, Tennessee, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Cunningham; her children, Austin Lewis, Keith Lewis and Sherry Therrell; and her siblings, Roy Henry Simmons, Larry Simmons, Lydia Guy, Vollie Simmons Baker, Bessie Mooneyham and Martha Walker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Payne of Chattanooga, TN, Elizabeth Cartwright of Somerset and Jamie Hess (Mark) of Bellevue; and her siblings, James Ernest Simmons (Iva) of Spencer and Daisy Mae Komor of Nashville, Michigan.. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
