He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Elbert and Audrey Gladys Simmons Madewell; his wife Shirley Jean Rigsby Madewell; and his sister Ida Maxine Jones. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Madewell (Jorga) of Spencer, Marty Madewell (Christina) of Shelbyville and Penny Reagan of Spencer; and his grandchildren, Edward Lee Brown, Donna Mae Reynolds, Edgar Stevins Jones, Megan, Kristen Brimer, Devon, Warren and Garrett Madewell. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
