He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Clendenon and Eula Hitchcock Clendenon; his siblings, Milton Clendenon, Harold Clendenon, Jewell Clendenon, Hazel Shockley, Francis Sullivan, Martha Hale, Betty Keener and Clata Ray Clendenon; his brothers-in-law, James Shockley and Arthur DeCoursey; and his son-in-law Larry Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sullivan; his children, Debbie Gray (Toby Beverly Ross) and Larry Clendenon (Teresa Barry Clendenon); his grandchildren, Johnny Gray, Justin Gray, Jamie Walling, Kelly Bridges, Brian Kilgore, Jason Kilgore, Robin Kilgore, Megan Russell, Keith Clendenon, Christopher Clendenon and Shayla Clendenon; his stepgrandchildren, Tim Ross, Paul Ross and Lisa; and his siblings, Ruby DeCoursey, Juanita Shockley and Cleston Clendenon (Audrey). He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren.
