He was predeceased by: his father Henry Clay; his former wife Adeline Burdett; and his siblings, Clifford, Fred, Harry, Bruce, Eugene, Ernest, Dennis Burdett, Bernice Gentry, Bessie Burdett, Betty Rose Burdett, Elizabeth Wood and Doris Pauline Burdett.
He is survived by: his wife Eldelmira Burdett; his children, Jackie McGrew (Patrick), Valerie Vinning and Chris LeVern (Johnna); his siblings, Kenneth Burdett (Susie) and Bertha Mae Shockley (Bobby); and his sister-in-law Brenda Burdett. He is also survived by five granddaughters, two great granddaughters and one great-grandson.
