She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernatus Bilbrey Carmack and Cordelia Davis Carmack; her husband James Leland Cope; her daughters, Gloria Jean Cope and Kathleen Cope Epperson; her grandson Nathan Cope; her great grandchild Jeffery Pasley; and her siblings, Zella Curtis, Stella Burks, Elmer Carmack, Lester Carmack, Ruth Kennerly, Bobbie Hall and Gertrude Krupa.
She is survived by: her son Harold Leland Cope (Carolyn Floyd Glenn); and her grandchildren, Angela Epperson, Thadeus Glenn Cope, Johnathon Cope, Milenda Epperson, Holly Jean Cope Pasley and Andrew Jovon Cope. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dorothy asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Shockley Cemetery Care Fund in her honor.
