He was predeceased by: his parents, Coffman Hitchcock and Delma Paine Hitchcock; and his brother Bill Hitchcock. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ward Hitchcock; his daughter Melodie Hodges (Jeff) of Spencer; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Scarlett of Cookeville, Jade, Phil Lucas, Alyssa, River, Lake and Victoria; his son Ronnie Hitchcock (Michelle) of Spencer; his uncle Morris Hitchcock; and also, Colby Wheeler (Krystyna) of Spencer, Grayton Wheeler, Sheldon Hitchcock (Alexa) of Cookeville and Shelene Hitchcock (Kyle Anderson) of Mt. Juliet. He is also survived by married on May 14, 1960 and his children.
