It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Rigsby of Spencer, Tennessee, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Burton and Betty Jane Rogers Rigsby; his brother Paul Rigsby; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Luedean Martin; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Denney, William Conley and Freddie Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Martin Rigsby of Spencer; his children, Amy Smith (Sean) of Spencer, Adam Rigsby of Spencer and Allen Rigsby (Jenny) of Cookeville; his sisters, Diana Burdett (Ernie) of Spencer and Debbie Wanamaker (Tim); his grandchildren, Kyra Measles, Bryson Smith and Elijah Rigsby; his stepmother Marie Allen Rigsby; and his parents-in-law, Sharon Rigsby Mooneyham (Shannon), Josephine Conley, Charlotte, Hugh Hillis, Judy Denney, Rella McCoy (Brad) and Nell Brown. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

“Peggy, Patty and I are so sorry to hear of the death of Bruce. I didn't get to know him well, but I always enjoyed our conversations. I guess I always considered him one of those bullet proof men with his wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and seemingly good health. His passing has shaken me to realize God is always in control, and we are totally dependent on Him. We will be praying for you and your family throughout this difficult time.
