She was predeceased by: her parents, T. N. Fortenberry and Ruby Smith Gauger; her son Shane Riggs; and her brother Stanley Fortenberry. She is survived by: her husband Lester Ray Riggs; her son Shawn Riggs; and her granddaughter Lindsey Riggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
