He was predeceased by: his parents, Brett Long and Mae Benton Long; his wife JoAnn Hicks Long; his daughters, Sandra Acker and Sherri Boyer; and his brother Bill Long.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Long of Spencer, TN. and Brenda Peterson of Spencer, TN.; his sons-in-law, Steve Peterson of Spencer, TN. and Bill Boyer of Salias Kansas; his sibling Jeannie Middlebrooks of Meansville, GA.; his sister-in-law Nina Long of Blairsville; and also Lee Middlebrooks of Meansville, GA.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
