She was predeceased by: her husband Steve MacDonell; her brother Sandy Midgett; her grandparents, Egar and Phoebe Haston Clark; her uncle Edward Clark; and her cousin Janice Clark.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Frierson; her sisters, Kimberly Midgett Swain (Mike) and Robin Midgett Fedeli; her grandchildren, Christina Ottinger and Carl Ottinger; her aunt Marjorie Clark; her stepmother Lois Midgett; her cousins, Buddy Clark and Brenda Clark Anderson; and her sister-in-law Cindy Warlick. She is also survived by Three nieces, two great-nieces, one great-nephew and a large extended family.
