He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Steele and Anna Franklin Campbell; and his sisters, Paula, Teresa, Donna and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hunley Steele; his children, Roxanne Steele and Douglas Steele; his grandchildren, Ryan Steele and Logan Steele; and his siblings, Brenda West, Michael "Tudor" Steele and Keith Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel (6340 Cumberland Gap Pkwy, Harrogate, TN 37752). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Town Creek Memorial Gardens.
