It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Proffitt of Speedwell, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Green and Opal Gaylor Green. She is survived by: her husband Donald Richard Proffitt of Speedwell; her children, Mark Proffitt (Linda) of Jacksboro, Chad Proffitt (Phyllis) of LaFollette and Monica White (Shane) of Jacksboro; her grandchildren, Desmond Proffitt, Paul Proffitt, Izzy Proffitt, Koltin White, Tyler Wilson, Jordan Heatherly and Shirley Couch; and her great grandchild Jahayla Faylynn Shelby. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
