He is survived by: his children, Taylor Mayes, Douglas "DJ" Mayes, Genevia and Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Aden Nunn and Landen Mayes; his siblings, Diann Rucker (Andy), John Miracle (Gail), Roy Lee Mayes, Gary Mayes, Marlene Sowder and Caroline Evans (Roger); his nephews, Jake Rucker, Rusty Loza and Dustin Miracle; his niece Rebecca Smith; and his close friends, Angie Smith, Lucinda Gordon, Beth Bailey, Steve Gibson and Jesse Gibson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
