With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Manuel Anthony Gouveia of Sparta, Tennessee, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gouveia and Lorraine Santos Gouveia; his son Matthew Joseph; and his brother Jimmy Gouveia. He is survived by: his wife Mona Gouveia of Spencer, TN; his daughter Samantha Oxford; his siblings, Anita Gouveia Taylor (Jesse), Jean Anne Gouveia and Donald Gouveia (Herenn); his mother-in-law Jean Campbell; his siblings-in-law, Keith Campbell (Debbra) and Kelly Campbell; his nephew Caleb; and his pet Tammy. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the White County Animal Shelter in Manny's memory.
