He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollon A. Murdock and Bessie Mae Murdock; his wife Brenda Gail Hassler Murdock; his son Leonard Lee "Matthew" Murdock; and his siblings, Martha Roberts, Sue Walker, Nina McBroom, Barbara Hale and George "Sam" Murdock.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Eller (Waymon); his grandchildren, Brenda LeeAnn Quast (Jordan), Nathan Eller, Ashley Murdock and Christopher Murdock; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Khalil; and his siblings, Doris Henry of Oklahoma and Eston Murdock (Dale) of Sparta.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (167 S Highland Dr, Sparta, TN 38583).
