It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Clay Allison (Sparta, Tennessee), who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jimmy Clay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jimmy Clay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jimmy Clay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Allison and Agnes Allison; his son Edward Allison; and his sister Janice Allison. He is survived by: his wife Linda Allison; his son Tim Allison (Trevanda); his grandchildren, Macee Allison and Chance Howell; and his brothers, Freeman Allison (Nell) and Bob Allison. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home (44 N Main St, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
