She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie King Bennett and Pauline Holman; her brothers, Vernon Bennett and Willard Bennett; and her siblings-in-law, Dane Sorrell and Ollie Mae Craig (Carroll).
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Denton of Sparta, Tennessee; her daughter Julie Denney (Steven) of Cookeville, Tennessee; her granddaughters, Mary Helen Bastian (Anderson Van Bibber) of Knoxville and Sarah Beth Bastian (Daniel Thomas) of Cookeville, Tennessee; her sister Hilda Sorrell of Sparta, Tennessee; her siblings-in-law, Sue Bennett of Sparta, Juanita West (Calvin) of McMinnville, Tennessee, Leonard (Florence) of Sparta, Eustace (Sharlene) of Destin, Jerry Denton (Elizabeth) of Quebeck and David Denton (Tracey) of McMinnville; and her children, Austin Hanna, Daniel Thomas, Anderson Van Bibber, Tim Davis, Shannon Griffin and Travis Barker. She is also survived by Numerous nephews and nieces.
